"Remember the Upstairs Lounge"

When popular gay New Orleans bar the Upstairs Lounge burned to the ground in 1973, killing 32 people, it became the worst fire in the city's history. But it received little attention. Now, photographer Skylar Fein recalls both the lounge and the incident through imagery, including crime-scene shots and a special artifact.
