"Seeing Stories: Fiction, Manga & Graphic Novels"

Writers Hideo Furukawa (Beruka, Hoenainoka?), Steve Erickson (Zeroville) and Roland Kelts (Japanamerica) examine the ongoing cross-cultural exchange between Japanese and American artists. The panel will also discuss the genesis of Monkey Business International, the translated version of a Japanese literary journal that's now being distributed stateside.
