"The 9/11 Peace Story Quilt"

The museum displays a 36-panel quilt made to commemorate 9/11 by artist Faith Ringgold and New York City students from 8 to 19 years old. By working with children across the city from various backgrounds, Ringgold used the quilt to foster communication and promote understanding between kids of different cultures and religions.
