"The Art of Matrimony: Thirty Splendid Marriage Contracts from the Jewish Theological Seminary Library"

Of all things manifested in ketubot, traditional Jewish marriage contracts, love is not among them. However, these documents contain clues about the wealth, artistic background, cultural ties and social interactions of the couples united through them. The Jewish Museum shows off some of the Theological Seminary's best specimens dating back to the 12th century.
