The Bungalows of Rockaway

In the early 20th century, more than 7,000 bungalows lined Rockaway's beaches as affordable summer retreats for New York City's middle class. Tonight director Jennifer Callahan and producer Elizabeth Logan Harris present their documentary on these getaways and discuss the destination with Rockaway Taco owner David Selig, Beachside Bungalow Preservation Association executive director Richard George, Rockaway Waterfront Alliance's Jeanne DuPont and Long Island Traditions director Nancy Solomon.
