Time Out says

Grand Central isn’t the only NYC icon turning 100 this year. On April 24, 1913—just two months after the transit hub opened—President Woodrow Wilson flipped a ceremonial switch to illuminate the new Woolworth Building, at the time the tallest office building in the world. This exhibit spotlights the elegant green-and-white building, from the initial stages of architect Cass Gilbert’s design and an up-close look at the building’s gorgeous terra-cotta ornaments to an examination of its pop-cultural significance.
