Triangle Tea & Reception

This talk with historian Joyce Mendelsohn (The Lower East Side Remembered and Revisited) commemorates the 100th anniversary of Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, the victims of which were largely immigrants and LES residents. Mendelsohn will illustrate the immigrant experience in 1911—and the tea and refreshments served will replicate those of the time. Reservations are required; e-mail slarosa@henrystreet.org for a seat.
