Writing Workshop: Historical Fiction of the Civil War

In partnership with Writopia Lab, which offers affordable creative writing workshops for kids ages 8 to 18, the New York Historical Society hosts and facilitates this two-day workshop on the Civil War. Writers will look at artifacts from the era—as well as maps and letters from the museum's collection—before putting pen to paper. Ages 8 to 14.
