This big neighborhood bar, off the beaten path, gets an artsy crowd and other times draws jocks. The jukebox is stocked with Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, the Jam and the Beastie Boys. And the back wall is covered with artwork. Two big, sports-filled TV screens show the game, and the shelves are packed with crockery. Something for everyone.

One word: PICKLEBACKS. (Or is it two words? Anyway.) This casual dive in Nolita is actually the perfect spot to spend a lovely weekend morning. They have an extensive cocktail list (with loads of different boilermakers and brunchy drinks), and the bartenders are super friendly. This is a great place to go after a day of shopping in Soho, or a place to meet up with friends to get some hare of the dog and share stories of the night before (if you can remember).
