It’s surprising to find a hangout this mellow in the Meatpacking District. The 15-seat, L-shaped bar, the pillow-strewn lounge area and the short, stylish drink list are extremely straightforward, and the staff is helpful—which comes in handy when choosing from the diverse selection of affordable wines by the glass or bottle (we went for a tasty shiraz).
