Austin’s embodies in many ways both the best and worst of this area. Several guys mill about in unironic gold chains while waiting to play Big Buck Hunter. The place has off-track betting (an instant party), a good beer selection, and delicious wings (an amazing hybrid of barbecue and buffalo styles is $8 for a plate of about 12; all day Sunday and Tuesday nights, they're 20 cents each). The pub also offers twice-weekly karaoke on Thursdays and Sundays, and off-track betting every day. Sit on the outdoor patio from April through October.
