Black Mountain Winehouse

Patois and Pacifico owner Jim Mamary strikes again at this corner wine bar, a 2008 Eat Out Award nominee. On sunny days, patrons sink into Adirondack chairs on the rustic front deck. On chilly nights, they settle by the fireplace inside the white, farmhouse-chic main room. Dozens of international small-production vintages are on offer by the glass, matched to charcuterie and served charmingly on a stone slab. A good bet is “Shane’s Pick”—a $6.50 daily-rotating selection chosen by the manager.

Cozy, intimate wine bar perfect for a low key winter night out.  Loved the ambiance in addition to the mountain lodge decor.  Service was excellent and despite the limited seating was able to seat our party of 6 within 15 minutes.  The drink selections were all great, however I especially recommend the mulled wine, which was phenomenal.  Will definitely be returning soon!

If you feel like going to a mountain lodge, look no further and head to Brooklyn. This cute bar has an extensive list of wines and other spirits! I definitely recommend the mulled wine, especially in the winter! Although there is limited seating, there are chairs outside for you to wait in. Once you head inside, notice the fire place. It adds to the cozy feel of the place. If you sit close to the fire, be prepared to heat up! This spot is perfect for a cold or snowy night.
