Manhattan’s homegrown wineries continue an expansion streak; following Brooklyn Winery’s foray into full-service restaurants with BKW, City Winery is branching out with this urban-vineyard-cum-restaurant at Hudson River Park’s Pier 26. Along with 270-degree views of the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline, the 1,150-square-foot, glass-wrapped space—complemented by a second-story rooftop café and outdoor seating—offers 15 City wines on tap, from a New York State riesling to a Napa meritage. Beyond the grape, find cocktails like a guava-watermelon mojito, a mescal sunrise with grapefruit and a sparkling rosé float, and a Moscow mule updated with house-infused lemongrass green tea. Offset the wine buzz with plates like risotto balls with Gulf shrimp and roasted sweet corn, seaweed-wrapped Blue Point oysters with mescal-unagi sauce and a lobster roll served with a City Vineyard cabernet slaw.

Wine is good, sunset is good, food and service are not so good. It's a packed happy hour spot for a drink with friends and its perfect for that, but don't go hungry.
Sunset views at City Vineyard are amazing! After just opening this past summer, they're continuing to stay open this fall and have an extensive menu. The upstairs / outdoor space is massive and the downstairs is also amazing. Views overlooking the Hudson River are gorgeous. Obsessed with the Montauk beers on tap!
