Time Out says

Like nearby Cooper Square, this American gastropub takes its name from 19th-century industrialist Peter Cooper, who counted brewing and barrel-making (a.k.a. coopering) among his many diversions. Mounted casks decorate the rustic space, which also features a barn-plank ceiling and metal-and-wood partition separating the bar from the dining area. Choose from 24 craft beers, such as Allagash Curieux and Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale, at the stained-pine bar. Thai chef Andy Yang (Rhong Tiam) switched gears to consult on the U.K.-accented menu of hearty grub, including a meat-loaf sandwich and the Irish mashed-potato-and-cabbage dish colcannon.

Lots of craft beers available here - I'm not a big beer drinker so I was unimpressed but the beer drinkers I was with thought this place was awesome.

Sweet craft beer bar. Nothing over the top. Happy hour has $5 beers. No ambiance really, but good for a casual drink

A fun gastro-pub in the heart of Chelsea! Great food and drinks, fun ambiance but nothing too crazy. A fun date place, restaurant to take your family, and bar to hang out with friends. I believe they have oyster happy hour specials too which are fun to try. They also have a nice brunch too.
