Welcome to DADA, the Ridgewood unicorn that somehow juggles being a craft cocktail lounge, art gallery, jazz club, DJ venue, community hub and brunch mecca—without breaking a sweat. It’s artist-owned (of course it is), which means the espresso’s strong, the vibes are curated and someone has definitely written a poem about the Persian olives.
By night, DADA hosts world-class jazz musicians and DJs spinning sets that stretch into the early morning. By day, it morphs into a literary café where you can sip an oat milk cortado while contemplating your screenplay—or at least pretending to. Sundays kick off with “Music Explorers,” a family-friendly musical adventure for anyone aged zero to 120, give or take a nap.
The kitchen, led by chef Julissa, turns out dishes that taste like someone actually cared. Think Aleppo-spiced eggs, organic Eggs Benedict and waffles that come with coconut cream and fresh berries because you deserve joy.
It’s not just a bar. It’s not just a café. It’s not just a venue. It’s DADA—a place where brunch is elevated, jazz is live and you might leave with a new favorite band, book or unexpected artistic awakening.
