Time Out says

Inside Haswell Green’s you’ll encounter an expansive space (multiple floors) with decor inspired by the industrial revolution. And the aim of the venue? To combine beer-hall vibes with cocktail culture, which is why you’ll find a relaxed surrounding with an impressively quirky and creative list of drinks. For example, the ‘Silver Screen’ is made with toffee popcorn-infused bourbon, a cherry cola reduction and 3D bitters, and the ‘That’s So Fetch’ is a mix of tequila, Lillet rose, passionfruit and is served with cotton candy. There’s also bar-style comfort food on offer and entertainment in the form of live music, jukebox bingo and drag brunch, as well as frequent mixology classes. Classes include tips, a drink and appetizers for $25.

Haswell Greens is set in the heart of the Theater District, so this is the perfect place to grab dinner either before or after a show. The décor is very eclectic with vintage furniture, antique mirrors, and lots of exposed brick. Check the website weekly for the live music line up which includes soul, rock, 70’s and more. The menu has something for everyone. Try one of the pizzas to share and later sink your teeth into a falafel dog or a brisket burger. Of course, you will need a drink too. Try the delicious and quite potent Wicked Mule.
