Maybe I just had a really bad experience here or caught the waiter on a bad day, but I came here last summer with some friends for girls wine night. We wanted to order some food and split a bottle of wine but weren't sure what we wanted. We asked the waiter for his recommendations for wine and he looked at us like this was the most bizarre question he'd ever been asked. He didn't explain the wine varieties to us and simply told us to flag him down when we knew what we wanted. That's not quite how I want my wine bar experiences. The food was delicious when we finally made our decisions but portion sizes were not generous. I may be back for another shot but I was not impressed...which is sad because cobble hill needs a good wine bar.

Came here to meet up with friends who live in the neighborhood. The room was stunning, not sure what to compare it to, it felt like Paris meets Brooklyn. Really intimate. This is a wine focused place but you can easily eat dinner. Mostly small-medium sized plates and some larger format dishes. The cooking was very clean and seasonal. Super attentive service, staff knew about wine. I guess that should be obvious but it was nice. I made my way from Manhattan would definitely come back. The place feels like a destination. We noticed the patio/garden but didn't sit there. We might make a brunch trip here for that.
