The only thing special about P. Diddy’s overpriced soul-food restaurant is that he owns it. Nevertheless, the crowds, especially around the long bar, are deep. There’s a P. Diddy martini on the drink menu (Absolut, Chambord, Alizé, Cointreau and lime juice), and the booming hip-hop and R&B soundtrack is louder than the sound system in the owner’s Escalade.
