This bar located across the street from Sara D. Roosevelt is a quaint bar to meet at with friends for drinks and small eats.  I visited this bar recently before attending a show at The Box down the block.  They have a small beer selection, but that is because they have a huge whiskey collection. My group shared some tacos, wings, and sliders and all dishes were quite good.  A clever sign in the bathroom, instead of a mirror, requests you not to have sex in the bathroom, but does offer other alternative locations. The 2 bartenders were quite friendly and invited us back after the show as well.

Awesome divey bar feel, minus the dive bar look. The staff here is super friendly and chatty and eager to make bespoke cocktails upon request (or they just might offer). This is a great spot to hang out for a calm evening or take in a solo drink. Be sure to read the various signage around the bar - it's a good laugh.

The thing I remember most was the space of the location. It’s very tight so be prepared to stand and walk sideways when the place fills up.  They offer mainly whiskey’s so I wouldn’t go there looking for girly drinks with umbrellas in them.  I didn’t get to try the food as I attended an event there and it was drinks only, but from what I hear from others it’s pretty decent.  It’s def a place where you would go late night for a few beers or hard liquor drinks.  The bartenders were great.  I would stop by again if I were in the area late night.

Loved it ! I am an Englishman in New York, and this was the perfect place to start my night. Steve behind the bar tipped me off about other great New York bars. I took his advice and a top night unfolded.

Awesome spot! Drinks and food were amazing! And I don't know what the other dude is talking about but the owners were great. Very funny and very hospitable.
