Lowlands

This neighborhood bar from Leah Allen (Abilene) is named for its position at the bottom of Park Slope’s noted incline. Lowlands features a “wackadoo arrangement of things,” as Allen puts it, including church-pew banquettes and green, tasseled light fixtures. The dozen tap beers, meanwhile, range from craft brands like Goose Island to mass-market ones such as Stella Artois.
