This urbane dance club probably does seem like manna for anyone tired of the artsy B-burg scene. The music tilts toward Latin, especially on Saturday nights, when DJs spin old-school merengue, salsa and Spanish rock. On Fridays, you’ll hear hip-hop and R&B; on Thursdays, you’ll have to suffer through karaoke. Bartenders mix surprisingly inexpensive cocktails behind a gleaming stainless-steel bar, while the crowd dances “on the two” in the raised lounge in back. The dress code is strict, and caps of any sort are discouraged.
