What’s the best thing about being a bartender? As the creative mind/mixologist to some of the city's best eateries and bars, I really enjoy the creative aspect of developing seasonal menus. I love the whole process of sourcing fun, unique ingredients and spirits harmonizing them and wowing my guest.
What’s the craziest things you’ve witnessed behind the bar? Two women got naked during lunch service. It was just the three of us at the bar, and they got a little frisky. They had no interest in me. They just wanted me to watch—and I was okay with that!
What bar trend annoys you? When the whole craft cocktail scene was blowing up and mixologists were wearing bowties and suspenders—for a while there it was about the bartender and not the guest experience. But it’s found its way back.
