This Australian-leaning watering hole sits on the border between Greenpoint and Williamsburg. Known for its massive outdoor rooftop bar overlooking the Manhattan skyline, the bar offers an extensive cocktail menu, including frozen drinks during the summer, local brews on tap, and Aussie-inspired fare such as 'meat pies', 'lamb lollies' and 'chips.'

Really I just love this place for the rooftop. Go on a weekday so you don't have to wait in line (although the roof has a lot of space). It has the perfect view of the Manhattan skyline and killer sunsets.
Northern Territory is one of my favorite bars in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area. Few roofs in that area have such a vast amount of space with great views of Manhattan. Bartenders can be a bit grumpy, but it's probably just because they never have a chance to rest with the crowds that gather there. Try the Territory's Tea - fresh muddled fruit and vodka, perfect for a summer day. You can't eat on the roof, but if you do feel like staying downstairs, the Grilled Skewers are great.
I've never had a meal here, only hung out on the rooftop bar a few times. Really beautiful view, places to sit and chill, good beer! Also if you go on a weekend night get ready for it to be packed with a young mostly super hipster and bro-y crowd. My only complaint is that you can't order food upstairs (on the roof) but definitely worth going to!
