With its Mediterranean-influenced menu, One Lenox might seem like it belongs on a breezy beach boardwalk instead of New York’s Upper East Side. Traditional mezzes like spice-marinated olives ($6), lamb meatballs with harissa dipping sauce ($10) and a trio of hummus, eggplant and roasted red pepper dips ($14) will start you off. For a lighter meal, order a crispy flatbread cooked on a hot granite slab and topped with spicy roasted portobello mushrooms and gouda or buffalo mozzarella and summer tomatoes (both $14). You might also opt for a lamb burger with labneh, charred onions and black garlic aioli ($14), fresh gemelli pasta with lamb bolognese ($16) or whole grilled dorado with green beans and fingerling potatoes ($24). Cap off the meal with an order of flaky baklava ($7) or warm Nutella flatbread ($8).
