Time Out says

Restaurateur Michael Mansfield has a mini gastropub empire growing in Queens with his Cuckoo’s Nest in Woodside and Banter Irish Bar and Kitchen in Forest Hills. He expands that bar portfolio to Astoria with this 120-seat Irish pub, which takes its name from a small Irish fishing village that once granted passage to Viking invaders. At the heart of the bar program is one of New York’s largest selections of whiskeys, with nearly 60 varieties comprising both major labels (Jameson) and Irish upstarts (Uisce Beatha), deployed in cocktails including the Violet Femme (Jameson Black Barrel, Earl Grey tea syrup, muddled blackberries) and Juice of Life (whiskey, apple juice, rhubarb simple syrup). A smorgasbord of across-the-pond fare is also on offer, including bubble-and-squeak dumplings, Guinness beef pie and a traditional stew of lamb, baby potatoes and pearl onions.
