Passenger bar is a great dive bar in Williamsburg. When you walk in, you’ll see it’s actually a pretty big space, with a long, sticky wooden bar. It has stand-up comedy every Tuesday night, and the last time I went, it seemed like a really comfortable atmosphere for stand-up, if anyone is looking for a place to start doing that in the city. This is an easy bar to come to alone, if you want. It’s a bit quieter than other bars toward the center of Williamsburg. There aren’t a lot of beer or food options: The taps are pretty standard, and the only thing they have to eat are empanadas, but they hit the spot.
