Neighborhood regulars mingle with less-rowdy NYU coeds at this Village standby, noted for its colorful bottle-cap mosaics decorating the walls. Twenty-seven taps—including Stella Artois, Sierra Nevada and Blue Moon—and more than 300 bottles satisfy beer drinkers, while a cocktail and a "beertail" menu are also available: The New York, New York mixes Absolut Brooklyn, St. Germain and cranberry juice. Bar bites include focaccia pizzas and nachos.

I have ended up at this pub for so many gatherings over the years. Be warned-it's definitely a NYU students' hang out so it can get a little rowdy for a Wednesday evening of board games. The inside is neat to look at, the walls are mosaics made out of bottle caps. They also have a large beer selection and tasty, cheap bar fare like curly fries and buffalo wings.
