"Each one of our bartenders sings,” says co-owner Dave Peña. Each drink slinger also has a slightly different take on the bar’s signature Planet Rose cocktail, but they all mix ’em strong. Many customers dig the cliquey singles scene happening on the zebra-striped wraparound couches. If that’s not your thing, however, the nightly karaoke is free.

If you're looking for karaoke without the wait, this is a solid choice. The interior is so hilarious—all these zebra chairs and flashing lights. Off to the right is the bar area, and to the left is a larger room with seats and space to dance when you're really getting into that Whitney Houston jam. Cheap drinks, good song selection, great location. My favorite karaoke place is Sing Sing, but when you're not down to spend $60 an hour on a private room, or you just HAVE to get in a quick Queen ditty, this is a great alternative.
