Area professionals pack high cherrywood tables at this uptown sister to midtown’s Riposo 46. Though the flaky service and run-of-the-mill decor (dim lighting, exposed brick and faux stained glass) leave something to be desired, a craveable bar menu and superb Italian wine list—90 bottles and 30 by-the-glass varieties—more than compensate. Linger over a smooth, full-bodied Ripasso di Valpolicella and its perfect match: a sweet-salty goat-cheese, caramelized-onion and mushroom flatbread.
