Rue B

You know how some places just make everyone look better? Rue B is like that. Silver-blue banquettes line the walls, candles illuminate the polished-zinc tables, and photographs of jazz icons oversee the action (which includes nightly live music). Drinks are mixed with fresh-squeezed juice—the apple martini is made with Stoli, fresh apples and a touch of syrup—and they slide down all too easily. Draft beers include Guinness, Brooklyn Pennant and Brooklyn Pilsner, along with sangria and sake, are also available. May as well tuck into some of the tasty nibbles on offer; you’ll be here awhile.
