This dimly lit, sleek sake lounge features rice spirits, Japanese beers and small plates from chef Takanori Akiyama (Lan). Sip on a glass of junmai or nigori sake, or opt for one of the cocktails made with shochu. To eat, there is sashimi and Asian-inflected comfort food dishes, like scrambled eggs with caviar and uni, duck-fat-fried chicken and bone marrow with sansho spice butter.

It has been 2 years since I was last at SakaMai and it did not fail me! Went for the egg on egg on egg (amazing as usual), wagyu and uni roll (AMAZING) and the uni mazemen (really good!). I liked the kakuni sliders. grilled octopus was ok.

This place never fails!!! MUST GO!!!

Really romantic and lovely restaurant that's great for a date night. Low lighting helps the mood! I recommend just ordering a bunch of different dishes and just sharing them rather than just ordering a single entree and appetizer for each person. You get to try out a lot more of the dishes and appreciate the Asian fusion type of food that Sakamai provides. You must get the egg on egg on egg dish!
