Time Out says

A new speakeasy hidden by a fried chicken spot

A sister spot to Chicken & the Egg, Sincerely, Ophelia’s door is hidden in plain sight—right beneath the sign for the fried chicken sandwich spot. Affordable cocktails, vibey music and a mix of glow-in-the-dark graffiti and old-timey spooky photos draw a young crowd for a (sort of) secret night of partying.

Sincerely, Ophelia says
Best Speakeasies NYC has chosen the East Village to house our speakeasy Sincerely, Ophelia with cocktail design by the former Creative Director of Broken Shaker, and the former Chef of Quality Eats Nomad for its fried chicken shack, Chicken and The Egg.

As a native New Yorker, the East Village is not only home, but the neighborhood of which of our expert team seeks to enrich 14th St and 2nd Ave with mastery, quality and familiarity. Akin to a NYC speakeasy, Sincerely, Ophelia continues the evolution of mixology and bespoke cocktail design. But unlike their speakeasy contemporaries, Sincerely, Ophelia offers music and vibes that connect with the Gen-Z and Millennial audience.
