Time Out says

It wasn’t long ago that tequila was mostly thought of as something to shoot with a lick of salt and bite of lemon. But thanks to its serious treatment at bars like Mayahuel, it’s now becoming the spirit of the moment. Joining the trend is this speakeasy-themed lounge. While the cocktail list spans the full liquor shelf, the Mexican distillate is the star player in many of the drinks, including the El Diablo (habanero peppers, hot sauce, tequila and lime juice), which the owners claim is so spicy that they will make customers sign a release before drinking it. Also expect a Mexican-heavy beer selection and small plates, including tacos and quesadillas.
