Another sign of civilization’s decline: Bars with “Blarney” in the name are becoming an endangered species in this town. Thank goodness the Blarney Cove is still in business. A pitcher of brew never runs more than $12 (Guinness and two kinds of Bud are also on tap), and most drinks are $4. The jukebox offers few surprises, with the notable exception of Linkin Park, which it seems to favor when left unattended. As night comes on, the blue-collar crowd yields to disaffected youth, but this is one place where we can all just get along.
