The Chelsea Room

This candlelit drinkery is tucked beneath the Chelsea hotel. The room, a onetime speakeasy, has been gutted to reveal original vaulted brick ceilings, which are hung with vintage crystal chandeliers. Grab a seat on one of the oversize leather banquettes to sip house cocktails like the Vault, a mix of Scotch, lemon juice, simple syrup and apple cider—while taking in deejayed tunes and live music.
