The rooftop is what keeps crowds coming back to this LES rock club—it’s got potted palms, a fishpond and a margarita machine. When the open-air party ends at midnight, head to the ground level to kick back on tufted couches or dance to guest and resident deejayed sets. If you're feeling more fired up, venture to the basement lounge for more raucous and rowdy live music performances.

Rooftop was so crowded. So crowded that four separate people legitimately fell on top of us while trying to walk by. Nah.

I've been here twice in the past 3 weeks for parties. One Friday evening-ish during Memorial Day weekend and surprisingly it was not crowded at all. I was with a group of about 20 people and we were easily able to take over a group of sofas and a good size section of the bar. Of course like any rooftop the drinks are expensive but the bartenders do a pretty good job of making them worth your $$. My second time here was for a friends going away party during the day on Saturday and it was completely empty until around 530 when a few people trickled in. Still super spacious etc. I feel like this place is still a nice hidden gem and doesn't get too saturated with the normal LES crowd.

The Delancey or DL is a nice venue with a beautiful rooftop. It has several levels and a dark, sexy ambiance. If you go on a Friday night, the doorman can be exclusive and will mostly say, "only bottle service" if you approach the door with no women in tow.  Sometimes they can also be very "exclusive" with whom they let in as well (read between the lines)

I came here for an event last fall and was totally impressed by the NYC bar meets Hamptons spa vibe. It's a great sized space, perfect for a post-work drink or a fun night out!
