Regulars at this Astoria watering hole get on so well that they vacation together: About 100 patrons sign up for pub-organized ski trips and regular jaunts to the dog track. At the bar you’ll find the same friendly folks playing darts and selecting tunes by the Pogues from the jukebox. The barkeep knows his way around a Guinness tap, and can whip up a respectable shandy. And, Lord help us, the third drink is always on the house.
