Takes a bit of a trek to make it to the rooftop, but as long as you either made reservations, don't care if you fight for a place to sit or stand, or just want a glimpse of the view, it's mostly worth the cost. The setting and atmosphere is appropriately luxe, with a lot of pretty people, and okay actual service. The prices are extravagant (expensive by any standard), without any real justification (real estate), but ultimately this can be said of many venues in the vicinity of Times Square. Food and drinks are aesthetically pleasing, but lack real substance. Overall, it can be worth it just for the views, but by that same token, lacks a lot of differentiation for the price point.

The Skylark, located in the heart of Times Square, is an extremely sexy venue with an equally sexy crowd. The fancy interior features plenty of plush seats and lounge sofas, along with an absolutely stunning view of NYC. The crowd consists of well-dressed, down to earth mid-20s to mid-30s. While the drink prices here are a bit on the expensive side ($15-20), it can be justified by their tasty cocktails and their fantastic view.
