Located between two sections of Port Authority, this midtown dive (formerly Port 41 and the onetime home of the Savoy) is a bastian of old-school NYC grit and is definitely not for the faint of heart. Bartenders are often bikini-clad, the crowd tends to be serious about its intoxication, and live shows in the back room range from bluegrass and jam bands to heavy metal and hip-hop.
