Vera

Vera lives in the shadow of Frank, the Italian restaurant at the same address that packs ’em in for dinner every night. But the lady deserves a little respect in her own right. On either side of the dinner rush, the pleasant bustle makes it a warm spot for an appetizer and a drink (the long wine list includes plenty of good, cheap Italians). Take a stool at the beautiful marble bar and ask for a plate of cold antipasti, assembled by the bartender.
