Barracuda Bar, a now iconic Chelsea watering hole, is turning twenty! For some of you this means that you will have to recalculate the lies you told about your age to people who can remember meeting you there when the bar first opened. For other this means it's a time to celebrate a bar that has made it work (and made you werq) where so many others couldn't. Even with late-nineties/early-aughts migration north to Hell's Kitchen, Barracuda has remained a vibrant, relevant hangout for young and old New Yorkers and tourists, partly due to their lineup of amazing shows. The number of famous drag queens have passed through Barracuda's doors, greatly outnumbers the number of queens who've passed out on Barracuda's couches.

On Sunday, Barracuda's throwing a blowout starting at 7 PM with drag royalty like Sherry Vine, Jackie Beat, Shequida and more. Celebrities have been known to drop in on the joint. Let's take a look back at some photos from Barracuda over the years.

"He was an angel! We walked out of elmo to walk to Barracuda and he came right over to me and offered me his arm. Sadly, I had to be content with only his arm!" —Sherry Vine

Clearly I'm not a breast man... but give credit where credit is due! I just kept thinking 'What lovely twins you have!'"—Bob Pontarelli

"Eartha was surprisingly shy and stood in the back of the stage during our interview. I think she was afraid of me! I was honored because she was quite a formidable figure herself. Backstage, she made a remark about Mandy Patinkin's behavior during Wild Party. I guess she was afraid of him too!"—Michael Musto

"Who is the bigger slut?!"—Shequida
