Hopefully you packed your umbrella today, because New York is about to get dumped on.
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood watch for the entire city today, which is in effect from noon through late tonight. An estimated one to two inches of rain will hit the city over the course of the day, as thunderstorms head Gotham's way.
Monday's heavy rain is the latest in a rush of wet weather for New York. On Friday, storms led to flooding in some parts of the city, including the much-polluted Gowanus Canal.
In any case, be safe out there, New Yorkers, and try your very hardest not to be a complete asshole when the weather turns to shit.
