There are many things you can to do stay cool during a hot-ass day in New York: you can visit one of the city’s many air conditioned museums or take a dip in one of Gotham’s numerous public swimming pools. Thanks to Summer Streets, the city is getting another way for folks to combat the heat and make a splash.

LG Electronics is teaming up with Citi Summer Streets to create Manhattan’s first-ever water park, and it’s going to be larger than two-and-a-half tennis courts combined. In honor of the brand's new dishwasher, the water park will resemble a larger-than-life iteration of the LG QuadWash equipped with sprinkler arms, enormous plates as well as a spoons that double as waterslides. Sounds fun, right? The only downside is that this is the closest most of us will ever get to having a dishwasher in NYC.

Another bummer is that this attraction is only temporary, and will last for the duration of the Summer Streets event. However, you do have multiple chances to check it out on August 5, 12, and 19 from 7am to 1pm. Check out the rendering for what the park will look like below.

The waterpark is located at Park Avenue between 70th and 71st Sts.
