A Michelin-starred chef is hosting a completely legal weed-infused dinner in NYC

Cannabis-infused butter. Cannabis-infused Maker's Mark ice cream. Cannabis-infused schmaltz. It may sound like I'm dreaming up a wish list for NYC's inevitable conversion to California-scale mass weed consumerism in 2018. But I'm actually describing ingredients in my dinner next week.

Sex-positive NYC millennial network NSFW (more on them later) are throwing another edition of their legendary Dankquet on Thursday, September 7, featuring a six-course menu of cannabis-infused delicacies made with Care By Design products and drinks by Soto Sake. Helming the feat is Chef Joshua Van Den Berg of Williamsburg's Suzume. Here's a peek at his farm-to-table, totally lit courses:

Amuse Bouche
Honey melon compressed with anise hyssop and lemon peel, benton’s country ham chip,CBD-infused ham fat

Resin-Cured Sockeye Salmon Crudo
Ikura, salmon skin crisp, crema, sungold tomato confit, opal basil, chive,CBD-infused smoked olive oil

Corn And Miso
Roasted late summer corn, sweet and mellow hawaiian white miso, flowering coriander,CBD-infused brown butter

Fennel And Celery Root
Citrus, fines herbes, gooseberry, candied walnut,CBD-infused walnut oil

Country Fried Pheasant
Maple financier, buttermilk pommes puree, sour cherry pheasant jus broken with CBD-infused schmaltz

Pecan Pie A La Mode
Lyle’s golden syrup, valdosta pecans, CBD-infused Makers Mark ice cream

The feast will be held in two seatings (8 and 10pm) at NSFW's Williamsburg clubhouse. The menu is designed to give a diminishing buzz with each course, so that guests don't go home not knowing what year it is. You can expect live music, bizarre surprises and a very game crowd. Though the dishes contain cannabis products, there's nothing in them that will get you in trouble with Johnny Law. CBD (a.k.a. cannabidiol) is a marijuana byproduct that does not have the intoxicating effects of THC, and is completely legal in New York.

Tickets are $150, but you have to be an NSFW member for access. But what is NSFW?

The exclusive network brings together like-minded millennials for safe, curated online dating; sex positive classes and workshops on kink, erotic hypnotism, polyamory and more; and dinner parties and bacchanals that would make a fully-legal Serena Van der Woodsen beg for a ticket in. Later in September, the NSFW crew will host "How To Be Open: Candid Conversations on Loving Like a Pro" (September 13), "Fluid: The Club Cumming Takeover" (September 19), "Impact Play: An Intro to Whips, Tips and Tricks" (September 21) and more. Head to their website to apply.
