The 2016 Afropunk Festival, which takes place August 27th and 28th at Brooklyn's Commodore Barry Park, just announced new additions to an already stacked lineup. Artists like Laura Mvula, Ho99o9, BLXPLTN and Sir The Baptist as well as DJ's including LSDXOXO, Juliana Huxtable, Mono / Poly, Ras G and more join previously announced headliners like TV On The Radio, Tyler The Creator, Flying Lotus and Janelle Monae. The 2-day event that drew upwards of 60,000 festivalgoers last year, will once again feature Activism Row, the Bites&Beats food truck rally and the SpinThrift Market.
Tickets are on sale now, or you have the option to "earn" a pass with volunteer opportunities.
