All the best dog songs, in one paw-some playlist

If there's one thing that can bring together aggro-punk provocateurs Death Grips and King of Rock & Roll Elvis Presley, it's National Dog Day. Founded in 2004 by animal advocate Colleen Paige, the annual celebration rears its perky-eared head every August 26 and invites us to look in the mirror and ask, "Do I take the selfless dogs in my life for granted?" (Seriously, go to the mirror. We'll wait.)

To quote Waka Flocka Flame: "No matter how you're feeling, a little dog gonna love you." So in commemoration of National Dog Day, we put together a list of our favorite canine tunes, from "Diamond Dogs" to "Howlin' for You," for all of you dog owners (or dog borrowers) out there.
