There have been a few drone videos of New York that have been pretty mind-blowing, but most of them have focused mainly on Manhattan and some of NYC’s most famous landmarks. So when Bronx-based photographer Victor Chu set out to make his own aerial video of the Big Apple, he made a point to capture plenty of outer-borough scenes, along with landmarks like the Brooklyn Bridge.

"There's been a couple of videos about New York City shot with a drone, but they always cover Manhattan. They never cover the Bronx and Staten Island and the other boroughs,” Chu told the Daily News. "They are neglecting the other wonderful parts about New York City."

Over the course of six months, Victor Chu, shot over 10 hours of footage on a camera attached to a drone which he edited down into the 5 minute video below. In it, you'll see gorgeous shots of Roosevelt Island, Long Island City, the Staten Island Ferry, Coney Island, Flushing Meadows Corona Park and The Bronx. You will not see footage of kissing T.G.I. Fridays diners.
