Listen, I always say that if you can't get married at the Prospect Park Boathouse, you might as well do it on a bus. Apparently, someone finally listened. Kara Mullins and OJ Jimenez tied their nuptials on a westbound M14 bus driving down 14th Street on Sunday, and it was adorable.

Beyond reasons of efficiency, the couple chose the M14 as the site for symbolic reasons: NY1 reports that Jimenez first noticed Mullins on a ride in 2004, and happened to run into her at a bar hours later. Eventually, he even proposed to her on the moving bus. For the main event to go off without a hitch, the couple and their friends planned with bus drivers for Mullins and Jimenez to board at different stops and get through their vows during a 20-minute lull on the path. They even made swipe-able MetroCard invitations.

Went on a wedding test run today. Feeling all the feels 💫🚍💫

“If there is anyone present today who knows of any reason why this couple should not be married,” their officiator gleefully said, “please get off the bus!”

Mullins tossed her bouquet at the end of the line, consecrating the 14th Street route as Lover's Lane. They then hit Le Bain at the Standard for the reception.

You can watch the whole ceremony below. It really gets going about ten minutes in.
