Even in a city awash in ramen joints, New Yorkers are always clamoring for more noodles: namely, the meaty stylings of Wagamama, that beloved London-born, Japanese-inspired chain with 140 outposts spanning from Bahrain to Boston, but not NYC. Until now, that is.

According to a recent article in the New York Post, Wagamama announced this week that it will finally bring its Japanese curries, teppanyaki and much-lauded ramen to 210 Fifth Avenue. Set to open in 2016, the massive 7,000-square-foot, tri-level space will go a long way towards accommodating the miso-gulping hordes that will surely descend upon it. Mark your calendars, Japanophiles.
