Birds & Bubbles debuts late-night and brunch menus today

The downtown house of fried birds and fizzy splits, Birds & Bubbles, debuts two new menus today: A late-night snack list and a weekend brunch docket, both of which feature chef Sarah Simmons's (City Grit) favorite eats (think creole chips with green-chili queso). The midnight munchies also include pulled pork sandwiches and a pickled okra boudin ball available Thursday through Saturday from 11pm-2am and Sundays 10pm-1am. Brunch fanatics can chow down on playful dishes like green eggs and ham and the Piggie Plate (house-made sausage, thick-cut bacon) on Saturdays and Sundays between 10am and 2pm. 100B Forsyth St between Broome and Grand Sts (646-368-9240, birdsandbubbles.com)
